Help Landmark PS 199

How can we lose this precious landmark and place for neighborhood people to gather? Our neighborhood is too fast becoming a concrete jungle. PS 199 helps keep a neighborhood feel.

Destroying a great school to build a condo. Greed is taking over this country. why must everything be about money and not whats good for the kids.
ReplyDeleteIn addition to being a fine example of Stone's architecture, the design of this wonderful school building is reminiscent to me of the design of our city's late, beloved Twin Towers. I find it comforting to see PS 199 every day. In my opinion, it is horrifying to think that the NYC Department of Education could be thinking of destroying this building.
